Comfortably
Pink began it's evolution in May 2009 as the
brainchild of six accomplished Minneapolis
based artists/musicians whose lives
converged around a mutually shared love of
the music of Pink Floyd.
Comfortably Pink's first show was on
Saturday, June 26, 2010 in Minneapolis at
the Lake Harriet Bandshell, and since then
have played major events such as RockFest at
the Salida Depot, Big Lake, MN, TributeFest
in Duluth, MN, and HalfWay Jam in Royalton,
MN.
Capturing
the sound and feel of a Pink Floyd concert,
Comfortably Pink brings a lineup of 6 of the
Midwest's premier musicians with Roger Moore
and Kent Weidie on guitars/vocals, Dan Busch
on bass/vocals, Jeff Price on drums/vocals,
Jason Craig on keyboards, and Pat O’Connell
on lead vocals. |

The sheer durability and raw power of the
music of Pink Floyd is universally known and
recognized. Comfortably Pink gives tribute
to the Floyd by first striving to faithfully
reproduce not only their classic sound and
tone, but the "experience" that was and is
Pink Floyd. The recipe: Outstanding musical
and artistic talent + sacrifice and
dedication + passion + amazing equipment.
The band incorporates
all the components that make Floyd who they
are, and depending on the venue and space
can include full video (rear) projection,
intelligent lighting (of course they have
lasers and fog), and always the huge sound
for which Pink Floyd is known.
The band has been touted for their epic
sound and attention to detail. They have
done their homework and truly capture the
power and energy of Pink Floyd.
Catch them this year on their "Welcome to
the Machine 2012 Tour"
